Mission statement

We wanted to create a technology company that helps customers prepare for an unpredictable tomorrow and provides certainty amidst uncertainty.

Jukka Laakso – Co-Founder & CEO, Louhe Oy & Chairman, Private Security Industry Pool – Technology Group, The Finnish National Emergency Supply Agency

The company’s owners share the idea that technology and research can be used to create impactful services and, when applied correctly, significantly enhance the security of properties and campuses, potentially even saving lives in crisis situations.

Technological advancement is expanding the field of security in Louhe’s business environment. There is also the growth of hybrid operations, the rigidity of old security solutions, and the underutilisation of collected data, which can be observed in the business environment. Various building technology and security technology systems generate a lot of valuable data, but decision-makers lack the means to leverage this data in their work.

We have identified a significant need in the market for a solution that integrates data from various sources and presents it in a clear and easily interpretable format. Louhe aims to provide an information stream from data mining, integration, analysis and explainable AI to customer operations.

With the LOUHE technology developed by the company, customers can find a solution for monitoring both the utilisation rate of properties and the situation of user flows, as well as utilise machine learning analytics to identify potential anomalities in security.

In practice, the security management can prepare effectively for security threats and allocate better their limited resources in everyday operations and in crisis situations. LOUHE finally brings security systems into the 2020s.

My aim is to help the customer sleep better at night – Hannes Huotari.

The LOUHE technology also adds value to the development and service production of properties, property complexes, and campuses. LOUHE harnesses data that has previously remained underutilised in various systems and can already provide refined information from it to critical decision-makers in businesses.

With this funding round and added expertise to our team, we are ready to take the next leap to growth and internationalisation – Jukka Laakso.

In early 2023, Louhe Oy got a group of top cybersecurity experts as investors to accelerate the development of the company’s explainable AI-based technology solution and to assist in its growth and internationalisation efforts. The company’s active and knowledgeable investor base was strengthened when Risto Siilasmaa‘s First Fellow and T2AB.VC, backed by cyber technology pioneers Mikko Hyppönen, Tomi Tuominen, and Henri Lindberg, decided to invest in Louhe.

Louhe continues to develop the LOUHE technology in collaboration with its trusted partners. The goal is to establish a significant foothold as an internationally operating data processor for security and property systems, transforming data into clear analysis and a artificially learning situational awareness. These objectives require rapid and efficient product development also in the future.
